UMBC’s Department of Music is grateful for the support of our community. Community support strengthens our program and ensures that current and future students have the tools they need to make the most of their studies here. Your gifts and contributions make so many things possible, from scholarships, to recital support for the students, to instruments, and support for our concert series.
Donate Online
For many, online donation is the simplest way to give. Here is the procedure:
- Visit UMBC Giving
- Check that “Music Department” is listed in the Designation field
- You will immediately receive an email confirmation of your gift, followed by a Thank You and receipt from UMBC within a few weeks, which may be tax deductible.
*You are able to set up recurring donations monthly, quarterly, etc.
Donate by Mail
If you choose to donate by mail, checks should be made payable to the UMBC Foundation and mailed to:

Be sure to write the name of your gift designation “Music Department” in the memo area of the check.
