The Heifetz Institute presents their annual holiday concert, ‘Tis The Season! ,in the Earl and Darielle Linehan Concert Hall.
An all-star cast of Heifetz alumni and friends includes guitarist Robby Brown, violinists Danny Jin, and Kiarra Saito- Beckman, violist Matthew Cohen, cellist Zhihao Wu, and some surprise special guests!
It promises to be a concert of pure delights….including Vivaldi’s infectious Guitar Concerto in D major, the rollicking Fandango by Luigi Boccherini,, and classics of the season by Tchaikovsky and others. Heifetz performances are invariably among the most talked-about concert events on the Kreeger calendar, and you won’t want to miss the dazzling virtuosity and poignant passion of these young Heifetz performers. Hallelujah!
Tickets available online: $20 general admission, $10 all other students, $5 for UMBC students, faculty and alumni (with valid ID). Admission is also free for children under 13 (accompanied by an adult.)
Directions and parking information
UMBC is located about 10 minutes south of the Inner Harbor along I-95. For this event, free visitor parking is available in Lot 8, directly adjacent to the Performing Arts and Humanities Building, where the Linehan Concert Hall is located — please click here for additional information.
