Description

Praised by the Washington Post for program building as artful as its performances, Strata (Nathan Williams, clarinet; James Stern, violin/viola; Audrey Andrist, piano) presents a wide spectrum of traditional and modern repertoire in trio, solo, and duo combinations (from which comes the idea of adding and removing layers, or strata, of sound). Performances include New York's Merkin Hall, the Maverick Concerts and Berkeley Chamber Performances, among many others. With thirteen new works composed especially for the trio, and a strong commitment to community outreach, Strata is one of North America's most sought-after ensembles.  Visit their website at www.stratamusic.org.

Strata will perform works by Bartok, Reinecke, Rebecca Clarke, and John Hedges. Tune in on April 8 at 7:30pm via vimeo!
