Violin professor Airi Yoshioka has released Mangetsu, a debut CD recording with singer and composer Susan Botti for Duo della Luna. Mangetsu (“full moon”) is the title of the work Susan Botti wrote for their duo. Also featured are powerful works by Kaija Saariaho and Linda Dusman, five of the iconic 44 Duos for Two Violins by Béla Bartók, as well as American and Italian folk songs arranged by Botti.
