Description

The Department of Music presents its Honors Showcase, an online event featuring students selected by audition to present their creative work. The program will feature work by Bach, Mozart, Eliot Carter, and more! The program will also feature works by student composers Jeffrey Martin and Kathryn Blake.

Our showcase this semester is given in celebration of Dr. E. Michael Richards' retirement. There will be a  presentation to honor his years of service to the Department and UMBC as a part of our virtual festivities.

The Honors Showcase will begin on Zoom (password is MUSIC) at 7:30pm for Dr. Richards' presentation and the remainder of the showcase will be streamed via Vimeo.
