Eric Taft is a producer and recording engineer from Maryland, and an alumni of UMBC’s Music Technology program. In 2010, he founded the Buzzlounge Recording Studio, where he has worked with local, national and international artists alike, taking an in-depth hands-on approach to music production. He has worked in the studio with artists such as Depeche Mode, Plain White T’s, and received a Grammy nomination for his work with recording artists Underoath in 2018. Eric attributes much of his success and experience to the opportunities afforded to him through the UMBC Music Technology program, and is thrilled to return and be a part of it once again as an instructor.
