Dr. Zachary Grim

Zachary Grim is a dynamic guitarist, educator, and researcher specializing in 20th and 21st-century music. He has performed with organizations such as the Bethlehem Bach Choir, Pennsylvania Sinfonia Orchestra, and guitar societies across the U.S., bringing classical guitar to diverse audiences beyond the concert hall. He directs the guitar program at the Jim Henson Visual & Performing Arts Academy and has mentored students since 2009. A passionate researcher, he explores topics from Elizabethan lute music to extreme music genres. Zachary holds degrees from West Chester University and the University of Denver and holds both a DMA in guitar performance and an MM in Musicology at Peabody Conservatory under Julian Gray.
