We are planning for an in person event. We will follow whatever COVID-19 protocols are in effect at UMBC at the time of the conference. You can find information on UMBC’s COVID-19 protocols here.
Parking
Paid visitor parking is available in Lot 9, next to the Performing Arts and Humanities (PAHB) Building, from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday – Friday. On weekends and evenings, parking is free. Lot 8 and Lot 9 are closest to the PAHB building.
Where to Eat
On Campus Options:
True Grit’s – open 7am-2pm, 4:30pm-8pm, and 9pm-1am. Buffet style. Located at the dining hall, 10 minute walk from the PAHB.
The Commons – various options including Hissho (sushi), Salsarita’s (Mexican), 2.Mato (Italian), Wild Greens salads, and Dunkin. Most open 11am-4pm Friday. Only Hissho open Saturday, 11am-11pm. 5 minute walk from the PAHB
Einstein’s Brothers Bagels – open 9am-3pm Friday, 11am-6pm Saturday. Located at the AOK library, 5 minute walk from the PAHB
