Andrés Felipe Palacios is a Colombian classical guitarist recognized in numerous competitions, including the ExAequo Emerging Artists Initiative in Austin, Texas. He is the Artist in Residence at the Baltimore Classical Guitar Society and a scholarship ambassador for the Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation while pursuing a Graduate Performance Diploma at Peabody Institute under Manuel Barrueco and Franco Platino. As part of the InterPlay fellowship, he mentors undergraduate music students at UMBC. Andres holds a Master of Music in Guitar/Pedagogy from Peabody, where he was an Excellence in Music Leadership Fellow, and a Cum Laude Bachelor of Arts in Guitar from the University of Antioquia in Medellín, Colombia.
